Pardon Our Occasional Glitch, Please!
You may have noted that this site has far more graphics and videos than previously. Unfortunately we have found that a few of our graphics do not work well with certain browsers. If you are seeing a few white boxes with red Xs where you think a graphic ought to be more often than not it is simply invisible to your browser, or the browser application that your device is using. The most frequent issues are with smart phones. These seem unable to handle some of our images.
You might also see a graphic spelling out "Hot Link" in red lettering, but again there is no actual graphic showing or appearing after you hit the "Hot Link" Button. Your browser just can't process it in its present form. Obviously we need to do better selection of our images so that they transmit across a broader range of applications. It is difficult since we use mostly public domain images for which we have little information. We are working on this. Fortunately nearly all of our graphics work fine if you can use "Google Chrome" as your browser. The blog is constructed in Google chrome. It takes us a while to discover issues that don't translate well to other browsers.
Our video links and book links all appear to work across all browsers. We are working on the few exceptions. Unfortunately some advertising blocking soft ware takes some of our free video links or book order icons as advertising and blocks them. Still more than 95% of content appears to make it across all browsers so please don't hesitate to tune into us on your cell phone or non Google Chrome browser. For the best big screen experience with our site try visiting via a Google Chrome browser with advertising blocking soft ware turned off. The few ads we have are between posts. We are pretty much pop up and banner free. We do our best to keep advertising informative and not annoying. Thank you for your patience we are a work in progress.
