Editor's Note 1/9/2015 Now that the U.S. and Cuba have reestablished diplomatic relations it seems a good time to check progress again on these issues.
The first bone of contention between the United States and Cuba is the actual boundary between the two nations. There is not a lot of disagreement at the moment though the formal treaty setting the boundary has not been ratified by the U.S. Senate.
