50 Pounds of solid Georgia Bull Redfish!
That's right! Congratulations to Josh Cook. He caught and released his biggest ever Redfish today measuring over 52 inches in length and weighing in at around 50 pounds while fishing with Capt. Richie Lott on board the Charter Boat "Wizard".. That's our best Redfish catch this season... So far. Blessed is the word!
What a beautiful, majestic fish. This fish could be 30-50 years old, so we handle them with great care to be sure they're released in fighting condition. She has the potential of releasing millions of eggs each spawning season, so each and every over slot Redfish is handled in this fashion.. Next years stock of inshore Redfish depends on it.
