4/27/2013 Boat Building and Model Making

THANK YOU BOAT AND BOAT MODEL BUILDERS

THANK YOU BOAT BUILDERS!

In reviewing our recent stats we have found that our two most frequented sections are BOAT BUILDING and ADMIRALTY LAW.

BOAT BUILDING one of our more recently added and under built sections actually pulled in more visitors than the runner up ADMIRALTY LAW. Thank you maritime lawyers and paralegals! We do have much greater plans for the Admiralty Law section for the future. And you may have noticed that we have several interactive research assistance features, and a collection of organized hyperlinks to relevant research tools and sites in admiralty law.  The related special interest page AUTHORITATIVE literature already has volume one of the American Admiralty Bureau's COMMENTATORS posted so that you may read it on line for free.

By comparison the BOAT BUILDING section was, before very recently, almost an "empty room in the library".

Yet the boat builder visitors came in strength. Thank you boat builders. We have recently added some new books and videos in BOAT BUILDING section. Our illustration by photographer Jiri Hodan above is of a model boat or "Pond Yacht" alerting you to one of the newer features that we are constructing for you on model boat building. Because you have clicked on "BOAT BUILDING" enough to make it the most visited of our "sections" ("special pages" in bloggereese) we have committed to a rapid expansion of quality content. We know we spend a lot of time in our blog postings on subjects of interest to naval professionals, and commercial mariners, but we treasure every visitor and now especially our professional and amateur boat builders.
Afinia 3D Printer H-Series
ONE OF SEVERAL 3D PRINTERS AVAILABLE THROUGH OUR ON LINE SHOP IN THE BOAT BUILDING SECTION

We have now added to the boat building section an on line tool shop. One mind blowing piece of equipment that you can find there is a 3 D printer, think the replicator on STAR TREK. These 3 D printers aren't cheap but for the very serious model builder prices under $2,000 mean that those of us who make less than Jay Leno could have one in the garage.

Without a sufficient number of visitors, as Surfing Muse (SM, our  youngest and least disciplined staffer) is wont to say, "we would have to go out and get real jobs".  We gave Surfing Muse an on line shop too.  If you happen to surf between boat or model building visit Surfing Muse's Surf Shop at the very end of the scroll in the SURFING section. Your on line purchases help keep Surfing Muse off the streets , and trust us; you don't want this kid on the streets.

THANK YOU AND PLEASE DROP IN OFTEN AT THE BOAT BUILDING  PAGE WE ARE WORKING CONSTANTLY AT EXPANSION AND IMPROVEMENT.
