If you are a new visitor, BLOOD ON BROWN WATER is a short 79 page book prepared by the National Mariner's Association documenting  Third World like working conditions in certain parts of America's modern day domestic service Merchant Marine fleets. The book is being actively read by a lot of decision makers this summer and is directly tied into a request for action by the U.S. Congress. The book while not the literary master piece of TWO YEARS BEFORE THE MAST or MUSCLE AND BLOOD aims at the same purpose to influence legislative corrective action.
