THE DRAGON LANDS IN BULGARIA

 The PLAN Frigate YANTAI arrived in the Black Sea  port of Varna, Bulgaria this morning (Sunday, August 5, 2012). This was the Dragon's first visit to Bulgaria. The ship was greeted by thousands of cheering people many of which were Chinese living in Bulgaria. The Bulgarian Navy Orchestra played and the local media was out in force. Rear Admiral Xia Kewei, political commissar of the 11th Chinese naval Escort Force addressed the crowd and received a warm reception.
