"QUETTA: At least seven Pakistan Coast Guards personnel were killed and as many sustained critical wounds in an attack by unidentified armed persons in sub tehsil of coastal town of Gwadar on Saturday." Editor's Note: For those of you unfamiliar with the Coast of Pakistan :

"According to sources in Balochistan Levies, the gunmen attacked a Pakistan Coast Guards checkpost in Sundsar area of Gwadar near the Pak-Iran boarder. Seven coastguards were killed and as many sustained injuries in the attack.
Talking to the media, Balochistan Home Secretary Akbar Hussain Durrani confirmed the attack, saying that as many as 14 coastguards were deployed on the checkpost. “Around 24 gunmen, armed with rockets and heavy weapons, attacked the checkpost and killed seven coastguard officials,” Durrani said. He said that a joint search operation has been launched by the Pakistan Coast Guards, Frontier Corps (FC) and Balochistan Levies to trace the attackers.
The home secretary said that although no group had claimed responsibility, it was believed that Baloch insurgents operating in the area had perpetrated the attack."
