WELCOME TO AMERICAN ADMIRALTY BOOKS
YOUR PORTAL TO THE MARITIME WORLD
SATURDAY JULY 27, 2013
The Christian Radich is a Norwegian full rigged sailing ship. The steel-hulled , three-masted ship carries a total of about 1360 square meters of sail. She is based in Oslo, Norway and has a crew of 18, and capable of carrying 88 passengers. Photo: Public Domain
About my generation: General Colin Powell once said:
"There were more of you at Da Nang`than at Woodstock."
Well, honestly we would have preferred Woodstock, but the "Cold War" was in full global contest, and Vietnam was the hottest area, and we were all "invited" to be somewhere else for Woodstock. We notice that a lot of you are not taking advantage of our daily National anthem feature. Frankly we think this nation rocks, but maybe we need to start rocking the anthem a bit to get you aboard for the daily warm up. Check this out :

BACK THE BOT !
Bipeds We Gotta Talk: About the "Bot Fail". We end this fund raising campaign with only a little over 1/3 of the goal raised. The goal of this campaign was only a little less than 1/3 of the failed "JumpStarter" campaign. I thought that we did a fair job of explaining what the CoralBot is and does and why it is needed and why public funding is sought. We tried the hard sell, the soft sell, and even the sex appeal sell, but far too few of you decided to donate. The project is treading water at the moment. However, we will back and advertise their next fund raiser. If you donated or didn't donate could you drop us a comment and tell us what influenced your decision? Coral reefs around the world are in need of restoration. The CoralBot when activated will reduce costs dramatically and thus increase restorative efforts. The Bot, a terrible thing to waste. We will return
