         The Chinese Navy Visits Hawaii

Three Chinese naval vessels are have arrived in Hawaii for joint search and rescue exercises with the U.S. Navy. The flotilla included three ships including a destroyer, a frigate, and a supply vessel. The combined crews consist of about 680 service members. This is a rare visit.
