EDITOR'S NOTE: Climbing aboard an offshore oil rig is trespassing at the very least. It is particularly dangerous if the trespassers are ill intended, damage to something like a gathering platform in a producing field could result in a BP sized disaster. Clearly Green Peace intended to leave the Russian Coast Guard with no choice but to arrest them. If you read the story you'll also learn of the ARCTIC SUN'S Refusal to allow Russian officials aboard who were trying to return protesters arrested previously. Generally Green Peace has acted like idiots in Russia's waters. Russia has responded with uncharacteristic restraint. We here at AAB find ourselves with far more empathy for the Russian Coast Guard than Green Peace. Green Peace seems to think its OK to create an environmental hazard if you are protesting mistreatment of the environment. We think they've lost their minds. Green Peace, ARCTIC SUNRISE....go back to Holland you are an embarrassment to the environmental movement.
