American Admiralty Books Safety & Privacy Policies EU VISITORS WARNING POSSIBLE COOKIES AHEAD
We're writing to notify you that all Louisiana-based Amazon Associates Program accounts, including yours, have been closed and your Associates Program Operating Agreement is terminated as of March 25, 2016. This is a direct result of the statute concerning tax nexus and imposition of tax collection requirements by the Louisiana legislature. Upon this termination, we will no longer pay you any advertising fees for sales referred to Amazon.com or its subsidiaries, and we will not accept new applications for the Amazon Associates Program from Louisiana residents. Please be assured that all qualifying referral fees earned prior to the termination date will be processed and paid in full in accordance with our regular fee schedule. Any final payments will be paid approximately 60 days following the end of this calendar month. In the event that Louisiana repeals or overturns this statute, we would be happy to re-open our Associates Program to Louisiana residents like you. Should you feel the need to voice your opinion directly, Governor Edward's office may be reached here, the Louisiana legislature's website is here, and additional information may be obtained from the Performance Marketing Alliance at thepma.org. We have appreciated working with you and other Louisiana-based participants in the Amazon Associates Program, and we wish you all the best in your future. Sincerely, The Amazon Associates Team" Needless to say AAB will not be our only business interest looking for a new home in a business friendly state, Nor will it long be our residence. Democrats, we don't know when you will ever learn, but steal any part of our income and lose our entire income tax. To the general public we advise that you look at every ruined community in America that resembles a third world enclave, in every case the Democrats are in charge. For the record we don't like Republicans either, but they tend to destroy the nation more slowly. One middle finger to all in Louisiana's State government! |
