Jimmey Roseman was diving at Bethal Shoal , Florida when he was visited by a 12 foot Great White. The linked video depicts the shark's approaches and the use of his spear gun to gently poke the creature until it lost interest. The same video also introduces you to "Oceans" a twenty something young lady with a real talent for getting along with sharks. there is both an interview and some video of "Ocean" and her pals interacting.
