     Spring! Time To Start Thinking About Those Summer Days At the Beach

 All of the staff here at AAB are professional mariners of one sort or another and a few of us have worked as professional divers. About this time every year reports hit the national media of incidents of sharks or killer whales appearing off of popular swimming beaches. It seems every year we are asked how we handle apex predators when we want to dive in an area where they are. Our answer is always the same, we don't go in the water. What do we professionals do on a great weather day when the beach has warnings out about apex predators in the vicinity.....we play golf.
