Namazu the Earth Shaker Giant Japanese Catfish Demigod, Music Video Star, and Maritime Analyst
FRIDAY WE BROKE THE NEWS THAT NAMAZU HAD BEEN HOLDING BACK ON HIS RESUME' WHEN HE APPLIED AT AMERICAN ADMIRALTY BOOKS. HE HAD MADE A PREVIOUS PUBLIC APPEARANCE IN A MUSIC VIDEO . YESTERDAY WE GAVE YOU A LINK TO THAT VIDEO FROM THE ALBUM FAUNA BY THE ARTIST OH LAND. ONE OF THE SONGS ON THE ALBUM WAS ACTUALLY TITLED "NAMAZU".
We listened to the song and it is clearly about Namazu and he is pictured with the artist Oh Land in a sort of "Fishboy" manifestation, but the head and face were unmistakably Namazu. We provided you with a link to what we have taken to calling the "Namazu theme" on YouTube. We also provided our readers with an album cover icon link to the album Fauna. The image on the icon says it all, there is Namazu in his "Fish boy manifestation", his face as clearly identifiable as a pass port photo. Apparently Namazu was active in the music industry in 2008. We don't know how long he was active before starting his recent writing career. We are planning an interview by hydrophone soon as we are sure his many fans have questions. Meanwhile we found another YouTube performance of the Namazu Theme by MS Oh Land, a very beautiful and talented singer and musician performing "Namazu" at a club in New York. We provide a link below because we hope you enjoy the song as much as we do and we thought that you might like to see the artist. Her albums, CDs, and single down loads are available through Amazon and we will be providing links periodically. We listened to quite a bit of her performances initially out of curiosity but find the music really worthwhile. We will probably be rather unabashed at promoting her recordings as an Amazon portal. Basically Namazu doubled our readership over night, any friend of Namazu's is a friend of ours.
