Russian Warships Gather in Mediterranean for Drills
TEHRAN (FNA)- About a dozen Russian warships are converging on the Mediterranean and the Gulf of Aden as part of a large-scale strategic exercise, a high-ranking representative of the General Staff of Russia's Armed Forces said.

2013 WILL BRING MANY CHANGES TO THE BLOG A FEW ARE ARE ALREADY VISIBLE
The coming new year will bring many changes to the blog as it has evolved over the past year, its first year on the Internet. First and most obviously we will have to archive the 2012 blog posts. We have established a temporary archive in the INDEX Section. and are already moving the January 2012 postings there. We anticipate that this is a temporary measure and that we will end up doing something more complex, probably tied in with the the needed archival needs and desired changes in the NEWS SERVICE.
The NEWS SERVICE we eventually hope to expand, including a large archive by the end of the year. For the time being the last 12 months of postings should continue to appear in the column to your right when our sailing vessel with the green sails appears just below the listing of Interest Sections. However each month a month of 2012 postings will be moved to the Archive as the 2013 articles are posted. We will alert you as other changes occur.
