Lloyds Maritime Academy is a primer provider of short courses and seminars on subjects of vital concern to marine insurance professionals, admiralty law professionals, classifications surveyors, and shipping managers. We noticed that their marine accident and emergency management course will be offered September 16-17 in London. These short courses are very informative and frankly having a Lloyds Maritime Academy course certificate or two in your possession can be an attractive addition to your resume when time to fleet up. Here are some of the subjects covered in the Managing Maritime Accidents and Emergencies program:
- Find out about the primary causes of maritime incidents
- Analyse the impact of human behaviour and reduce human error
- Identify casualty management strategies
- Learn about risk management and assessment
- Examine the legal implications and liability issues
- Understand claims investigations and wreck removal
- Communicate effectively with the media during an incident
The programs of the Lloyds Maritime Academy are usually not free nor particularly inexpensive but we feel confident in recommending them as value for the money and time spent. Lloyds is not an advertiser with the AAB. For more information click here:
