Congo: China to build tanker port at Pointe Noire

Photo :U.S. Navy"Congo will soon build a tanker port at Pointe Noire, in the south of the country, with the help of China in a bid to improve the country’s capacity to import and export goods, official sources said on Saturday."

Considering that tankers over 100,000 gross registered tons are considered "SUPER TANKERS" with a planned capacity to serve vessels up to 300,000 gross registered tons China plans a super tanker port for the Congo.
