INDIAN NAVY CHIEF SAYS THAT THE INDIAN OCEAN AND NOT THE SOUTH CHINA SEA IS INDIA'S NAVAL PRIORITY

The Indian Navy is expected to expand at a rate of five major warships a year for most of the next decade. Recently we reported that their first domestically built nuclear submarine is ready for sea trials. But if the west was expecting this rising democratic naval star to shine any light into the South China Sea problems Indian Navy Chief Admiral Verma says don't hold your breath. He has labeled the Indian Ocean as the INS main concern and expressed an intention to avoid entanglement in the South China Sea territorial disputes.
