If a picture of a sailing ship does not appear above but other illustrations do, it is a function of your browser. Some browsers drop some illustrations. This site is constructed in, and works best with Google or Google Chrome. Most illustrations and all hyper-links work with all browsers that we are aware of.

Click on this link for a one and half minute video introduction to our site:

If you have never visited this site before please click on the hyperlink above or  below for a minute and half entertaining video explaining what this site is all about. After viewing the video let it run to the very end where a thumbnail gallery of unrelated stills appears then simply click on the YouTube "back arrow" at the top left corner and you should arrive right back here. If you still have questions after that, look to the right of the sailing ship and click on  INTRODUCTION.

If you are an "Old Hand" with us, today's blogs can still be reached by simply scrolling down. There are about 7 blog posts from here to the end of the scroll on average. That can be less than a single day of postings, or several days depending on whats going on in the nautical world. To go past the typical 7 simply click on the title you want on the right, or when the titles run out click on a month, and a new stream of titles will appear.

If you come here regularly for daily maritime news, there are often interesting items in the blogs but over on the right if you click on NEWS SERVICE  you will go straight to our constantly updated piracy reports, headline service, and hyperlinks to the world's English Language on line maritime news services.

To facilitate ease of use for new visitors, this "Station ID" will always appear first being positioned again to the top after each new blog post.
