UKRAINE MILITARY FORCES STILL IN THE CRIMEA ARE NOW AUTHORIZED TO USE WEAPONS IN SELF DEFENSE
Prior to the murder of a Ukraine serviceman ( scroll down to next post for the story) the Ukraine had not authorized its forces to use weapons in resistance to Russian or local militia type forces. Forces still remaining in Crimea are now authorized the use of armed force in self defense. This policy would explain why the Crimea militia forces who entered the Ukraine Black Sea naval headquarters unarmed and hauled down the Ukraine flag and hoisted the Russian flag were unopposed.
